PROJECT GOALS

Evaluate and improve collaboration between community partners and academic institutions

The overarching goal of this project was to learn how well our institution collaborated with our community partners.

Through interviews and a common survey with partners, we discovered some challenges to strong collaboration, like institutional processes that do not consider grassroots organizations’ structure or staffing capacities. We plan to analyze response data to understand how we can improve working relationships between our community partners and academic institutions.
